AI Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for photos and AI videos on Hotel Lobby, including prohibited content, reporting misuse, content review, enforcement and appeals.

2026/10/12

Scope and your responsibilities

This AI-generated content (AIGC) Acceptable Use Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to uploaded photos, generation requests, generated videos, share links and any other use of Hotel Lobby. Private content is subject to the same rules as shared content. Payment does not create an exception.

Use photos, likenesses and other material only with the permissions needed for the intended use. Obtain permission from the people you depict. Review a result before publishing it and identify it as AI-generated when sharing it could otherwise mislead viewers. A template or example is not a license to use someone else's identity, music, character or brand.

Prohibited content

Do not upload, request, generate, store or share any of the following through Hotel Lobby. These restrictions also cover attempts to evade them by cropping, disguising a request or using another account.

1. Pornography and NSFW sexual content

Sexually explicit imagery, nudity intended for sexual gratification, sexual acts, pornography and sexual services are prohibited. This includes non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized face swaps and attempts to create or alter intimate images of someone, even if the original photo is ordinary or the result is synthetic.

2. Violence and gore

Do not create graphic injuries, extreme bloodshed, torture, mutilation or abuse of people or animals. Content that threatens someone, celebrates real-world violence, encourages self-harm or supports violent extremism is also prohibited. A music performance must not be turned into a threat or a depiction of abuse.

3. Hate speech

Do not use the service to promote hatred, dehumanize people, incite violence or advocate discrimination based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. Targeted harassment, degrading slurs and intimidation are prohibited, including when presented as lyrics, a joke or a fictional performance.

4. Child sexual exploitation and CSAM

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of anyone under 18, grooming, sexual extortion and any other sexual exploitation of children are strictly prohibited. This applies to real, altered, AI-generated and fictional depictions, including content that portrays a person as a child. Do not upload suspected CSAM as evidence when reporting it; provide a URL or task identifier and a brief, non-graphic description instead.

5. Deceptive deepfakes and impersonation

Do not impersonate another person without permission or make synthetic content that falsely presents them as speaking, acting, endorsing a product or participating in a real event. Fraud, fabricated evidence, reputational attacks and misleading political or public-safety claims are prohibited. Consensual, clearly presented AI performances are allowed only when they comply with the other rules. Labeling something as parody does not excuse abuse, lack of necessary permission or deception.

Do not submit or distribute material that infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights. This includes photos, recordings, music, characters and logos used without the necessary rights or a valid legal basis. Do not imply a brand's sponsorship or endorsement without authorization. Availability online, payment for credits and a successful generation do not establish permission or ownership.

Report misuse

Anyone can report suspected violations, including a person depicted in a video or a rights holder. You do not need a Hotel Lobby account. Email [email protected] with the subject Content report. You can copy this address into your email service if the link does not open a mail app.

Include the following when available:

  • The Hotel Lobby page or share URL, or the task identifier from your account.
  • The rule you believe was violated and a short explanation of what happened.
  • Your connection to the content, such as the person depicted, a viewer or an authorized rights holder.
  • An email address for follow-up. For a rights complaint, identify the protected work or mark and explain your authority to report it.

Send only information needed to identify the issue. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, unnecessary identity documents or illegal images. This channel is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services when someone faces immediate danger.

How content review works

Hotel Lobby's review process is report-led. Reports and provider notices can prompt a manual review of the available content and relevant account or task records. We may request clarification, assess consent or rights information, and consider the context and severity of the suspected violation. Material already deleted may no longer be available for review.

Our generation provider may also apply its own safeguards and reject requests. Its acceptable use requirements apply to processing through that provider. Provider acceptance is not a finding that content complies with this policy. We do not promise that every upload or video receives human review before generation or sharing, or that all violations will be detected.

Access to private material for a report or abuse investigation is limited to what is necessary for that purpose, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We may coordinate with relevant service providers or authorities where needed to address suspected abuse or meet legal obligations.

Violations and enforcement

Violating this policy is a breach of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for your own uploads, generation requests and use of the output. Our user breach and termination rules explain the consequences and your responsibilities.

Depending on the evidence, severity and repetition, we may take one or more of these actions:

  1. Issue a warning and require the prohibited activity to stop.
  2. Reject a generation request or remove prohibited uploads and videos.
  3. Disable a share link or restrict generation access.
  4. Suspend the account during review or while addressing a violation.
  5. Permanently terminate the account for serious or repeated violations, including evasion of restrictions.
  6. Refer relevant information to service providers or authorities where necessary to address unlawful abuse or meet legal obligations.

Serious or repeated violations may lead to immediate restrictions without a prior warning. Do not bypass a restriction through another account.

We may take protective action while a report is being assessed. Where appropriate, we will explain the affected content, the reason for our decision and how to request a review. Details may be withheld where disclosure would compromise safety, another person's privacy, an investigation or a legal obligation.

Billing remains subject to our Terms: confirmed failed generations return their credits once. Completed generations remain chargeable even if their content is removed for a violation; their spent credits are not automatically returned. Suspension may prevent use of your balance, and termination ends access to generation and stored content. Unused paid credits are not automatically forfeited; contact support to review the balance and any refund entitlement. Applicable consumer rights and legally required refunds remain unaffected.

Appeals and policy updates

If you believe a decision was mistaken, email [email protected] with the subject Content appeal. Include the task or share URL, any decision reference and the reason for reconsideration, together with relevant permission or rights information. We will review the information and communicate the outcome; an appeal does not automatically restore access while it is being considered.

We may update this policy as the service and its safeguards change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions about these rules can be sent to the same support address.
